Tata Steel to acquire Rawmet

Mumbai Jan 16

Tata Steel on Tuesday said it has entered into a Definite Agreement to acquire 100 per cent equity stake in Rawmet Ferrous Industries at an enterprise value of Rs 101 crore.

It informed the BSE that out of the enterprise value, Rs 41.31 crore was towards equity of Rawmet. The company expects the transaction to be completed by the end of February 2007.
