Mascon Global opens B'lore lab

IT services firm Mascon Global Ltd on Tuesday inaugurated its next-generation networks lab in Bangalore. The lab was set up with an initial investment of $5 million.

Mr Alejandro Ferreiro, Minister of Trade and Commerce, Republic of Chile, inaugurated the lab. The lab will be used to develop solutions for core networks, access networks and terminal equipment as well as enterprise communication applications.

The company plans to set up a near-shore centre in Chile in the near future. "Chile will be one of the strategic locations for MGL to serve the Americas and we are committed to build a strong customer base in Chile and Latin America in the areas of consulting, IT and telecom services along with healthcare, e-governance, e-education, and e-commerce," said Mr Sandy Chandra, Chairman, MGL.
