ITDC net at Rs 44 cr

India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has recorded a net profit of Rs 44 crore (Rs 15.05 crore) during April-December 2006. In a statement, the group has said that the main growth has come from Ashok Hotels Division that has made a profit Rs 36 crore during April-December 2006. The hotels in Jammu, Jaipur and Bhubaneshwar continued to report losses, the statement added.
