Coimbatore , Jan. 17

The Coimbatore-based Adwaith Lakshmi Industries Ltd, a member of the LMW group engaged in the manufacture of textile spinning machinery accessory, has come out with the next generation bobbin holder, the universal bobbin holder.

The newly-designed bobbin holder will allow adjusting the brake force of spindle and can be set against specific spinning condition suitable to the customers. The spacers used in the holder will enable progressively rising or lowering the brake force.

The bobbin holder now being extensively put on trial run is expected to be commercially launched by March, senior officials of Adwaith Lakshmi Industries told presspersons here.

Bobbin holders are used in the yarn spinning machinery as an accessory to support the quality of the spun yarn.

Incidentally, Adwaith Lakshmi is also celebrating the release of 10 millionth bobbin holder produced by the company and the milestone bobbin-holder was presented to Mr D Senthilkumar, Managing Director of Sri Jayabharath Mills in Arupukottai, Tamil Nadu.

According to Mr Ravi Sam, Managing Director of Advaith Lakshmi Industries, while bulk of the bobbin holders produced by the company goes to LMW, it also supplies the textile accessory directly to textile mills. The company exports about 10 per cent of its production, including Europe, Japan and China.

Mr Sam said his company has recently enhanced the bobbin holder production capacity from three lakh to five lakh pieces a month as the company has chalked up plans to aggressively market the accessory to the textile industry directly as the growth of the spindleage in the country would propel the volume rise.
