TOLIC wins award for promoting Hindi

The Thiruvananthapuram Banks Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) has been awarded `regional official language' award for promoting the use of Hindi in 2005-06.

The award was handed over by the Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mr Manick Rao H. Gavit, to Mr P. Mohanan, Chairman of TOLIC and General Manager, Canara Bank Circle Office. Canara Bank is the Convenor of TOLIC, Banks.
