Drop in Bhagyanagar Q3 net

Bhagyanagar India Ltd, has recorded gross sales of Rs 55.24 crore and net profit of Rs 6.87 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006 as against Rs 61.41 crore and net profit of Rs 7.23 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

While the copper, power and infrastructure divisions performed well, the telecom division registered lower sales income, denting the total sales and net numbers. During the quarter, the company raised $15 million through FCCB issue.
