SEBI cancels BOI MF registration

SEBI via its order dated January 9, cancelled the certificate of registration of BOI Mutual Fund and has also withdrawn the approval granted to the erstwhile BOI Asset Management Co Ltd to act as the asset management company.

The move follows a request made by BOI Mutual Fund. Consequently, with immediate effect, BOI Mutual Fund, the Principal Trustee of BOI Mutual Fund and BOI Asset Management Co Ltd cannot carry out any activity as a mutual fund, trustee or asset management company as the case may be, in accordance with the regulations.
