Kale partners Direct Logistics for automation

Freight forwarding and logistics company Direct Logistics has chosen a web-enabled solution from the Kale Consultants stable to automate their ocean, air and multi-modal freight operations. The solution, according to Mr Rajiv Dalal, Vice-President and Head (Global Sales), Kale, would encompass various functions including sales, export, import and tracking besides providing on-demand as well as routine administration information for better management of operations.

The Managing Director of Direct Logistics, Capt Sunil Devrani, said his company's geographical coverage had increased significantly in the last two years. "We have been growing at more than 100 per cent year-on-year. To strengthen our position and provide better service to our customers in a constantly changing business environment, we needed an efficient and integrated solution and found a trusted partner in Kale."
