Bail granted to accused in test-kit case

Kolkata, Jan 19

A Division Bench of the Calcutta High Court comprising Mr Justice D.P. Sengupta and Mr Justice P.K Deb granted bail to Gobind Sarda and Anand Maloo, the two accused in the defective blood test-kit supply case. The two have been in custody for 180 days. The Bench stipulated that the accused would not leave the city without the court's permission, would have to surrender their passports and meet the investigating officer twice a week.
