Hind Construction Q3 net dips 3 pc

Hindustan Construction Co has reported a nearly three per cent fall in its net profit for the third quarter of the current fiscal at Rs 21.99 per cent, against Rs 22.62 per cent in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal. However, the company's turnover rose by 17 per cent to touch Rs 540.65 crore during the quarter, as compared to Rs 461.87 crore for the corresponding period of last year. For the nine-month period of this fiscal, the company's net profit fell by almost 36 per cent at Rs 51.27 crore, against Rs 80.99 crore in the nine-month period of last fiscal.
