Mangalore Jan. 20 Karnataka Bank Ltd has launched a new term deposit scheme for 450 days carrying interest of 8.50 per cent per annum.

A bank release said here that the scheme would be effective from January 22.

This scheme is in addition to the existing fixed deposit scheme for 365 days at 8.25 per cent. Both the schemes will be valid up to March 31, the release added.
