NCL Industries turnover up

NCL Industries Ltd has logged a turnover of Rs 56.06 crore during the quarter ended December 31, 2006, a 67 per cent growth over the corresponding quarter of last year's turnover of Rs 33.61 crore.

The company also announced a profit before tax (PBT) of Rs 9.34 crore for the quarter, which is a whopping 945 per cent growth over the previous year's same quarter PBT of Rs 89.37 lakh. NCL Industries, which is a diversified company with cement, cement-bonded particle boards and prefab structures, has embarked on a expansion programme. Accordingly, it is increasing its cement capacity from the existing 2.97 lakh tones per annum (tpa) to 6.30 lakh tpa.
