Coimbatore Jan. 22 The Tirupur-based ethnic cotton apparel flagship Ramraj group is getting into services sector, including fee-based IT solutions and counselling/training in human resources.

The group, known through its men's ethnic apparel brand `Ramraj Cotton' dhotis and shirts, has identified four broad categories of services for its foray - training in human resources, guidance/counselling, IT solutions and publication of books and CDs that are largely aimed at self/personality development.

The foray will be carried out through its new outfit, Ramraj Innovationss.

The services to be given under the new business model will be essentially in the form of developing suitable training system for the needy sections of society, say either the parental counselling or the training of students or career improvement trainings for workers or officials, according to a communication from Ramraj group companies.

A team of HRD experts led by HRD trainer Mr Surya would form the resource team for Ramraj Innovationss in developing various training modules.

Online trading

Ramraj Innovationss will also take over the on-line trading of `Ramraj Cotton' branded dhotis/shirts, being launched as part of the group's services venture.

Ramraj Innovationss is also planning to offer IT solutions for other businesses and trades, including the retailers.
