Outlook DMG plans tech centre in Bangalore Our Bureau
It is dedicated to developing customised solutions and application support in tooling, fixtures, software and engineering time studies for the auto and auto parts, dies and moulds, aerospace and many other sectors in India. Gildmeister is the leading manufacturer of cutting machine tools worldwide. Mr Thorsten Schmidt, Director, sales and service worldwide and CEO Asia, Gildmeister, said the tech centre would have 100 to 150 engineers and experts by the year-end and is expected to be operational by August. DMG, with a direct presence in India since 1999, has been recording more than 20 per cent growth in sales and supports a wide range of CNC metal cutting machine tools from entry level to high-end multi-tasking, for almost every manufacturer. Hero Honda group, LMW, HAL and Godrej are among its leading customers.
