The half-year net profit increased by 24.55 per cent for the period ending December 31, 2006, to Rs 21.86 crore from Rs 17.55 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Mr Harsh Pati Singhania, Managing Director, JK Paper Ltd said, "Sales quantities of branded copier paper grew by 39 per cent on a year-on-year basis. High-end coater paper also grew by 62 per cent.
