Cipla Q3 net up at Rs 184 cr

Mumbai Jan. 23 Cipla Ltd has posted a 5.17 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 184.38 crore (Rs 175.31 crore) for the third quarter ended December 31. Sales grew 12.80 per cent to Rs 880.54 crore (Rs 780.62 crore).

During the quarter, formulations exports grew 35.44 per cent to Rs 319.72 crore (Rs 236.09 crore). Sales of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients were down 35 per cent at Rs 98.15 crore (Rs 150.26 crore).

Shares of the company fell 0.18 per cent to close at Rs 253.80 on BSE.
