Escorts launches oils for tractors

Hyderabad Jan. 24 Escorts Agri Machinery Group, a leading tractor manufacturer, has launched Suraksha, a range of engine and gear oils for its tractors, in the Andhra Pradesh market.

Announcing the launch, Mr Y.V. Anand Kumar, Head, Customer Service and Parts, told newspersons on Tuesday that it was proposed to tie up with over 5,000 oil retailers and mechanics at the local level to make the products available.

At present, the products, aimed to enhance the performance and longevity of the tractor engines, would be sold through the existing national sales and service grid of over 1,200 dealers, sub-dealers and stockists.

Escorts Agri Machinery has a market share of about 15 per cent in the farm mechanisation segment with its three brands - Farmtrac, Powertrac and Escort.
