17-pc rise in Allsec Tech income

Chennai, Jan. 25

Allsec Technologies on Thursday reported a 17 per cent increase in total income at Rs 28.35 crore for the quarter ending December 2006, against Rs 24.14 crore reported for the same period last year.

According to a press release, profit after taxes for this quarter was Rs 6.96 crore, a growth of 26 per cent compared to Rs 5.54 crore last year. Income from operations was lower by 11.7 per cent, said the release.
