Call rates ruled at 7.8-8 per cent against Wednesday's close of 7.75-7.85 per cent. In the first four-day reverse-repo auction under LAF, the RBI received and accepted three bids for Rs 45 crore and in the first four-day repo auction, it received and accepted 11 bids for Rs 6,180 crore.

In the second four-day reverse-repo auction, the RBI accepted and received one bid for Rs 35 crore and in the second four-day repo auction, RBI received and accepted 16 bids for Rs 5,345 crore. The CBLO market saw 301 trades aggregating to Rs 17,210.35 crore in the 7-7.5 per cent range.
