Real Estate & Construction 43 pc rise in GMR Infra Q3 net profit Our Bureau
The net profit rose by 43 per cent over the corresponding period in the previous year, which stood at Rs 48.06 crore. The gross revenue grew 96 per cent on Rs 219.89 crore of the third quarter of 2005. A major portion of revenue came from Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) project. It is also executing a greenfield international airport in Hyderabad, which will start contributing to the company's topline from the next fiscal. DIAL contributed a net revenue of Rs 87.79 crore after a deduction of Rs 75.44 crore out of the total earnings of Rs 163.23 crore towards the annual fee paid to the Indian Airports Authority of India. Its energy and roads divisions contributed Rs 231.14 crore and Rs 36.53 crore respectively for the third quarter of the current fiscal.
