Record unloading of urea at Vizag Port

Visakhapatnam, Jan. 26

Visakhapatnam port set a record on Tuesday in unloading granulated urea in bulk. A quantity of 15,951 tonnes of urea was unloaded from m.v. Pontonikis at EQ-7 berth, surpassing the previous best of 15,167 tonnes in 2006. The cargo was imported by the Indian Farmers' Fertiliser Co-operative Ltd and Sarat Chatterjee and Co were the stevedores. Chowgule Bros Pvt Ltd was the steamer agent.
