Hyderabad Jan. 26 Easy Educate, a city-based higher education services company, has entered into an agreement with eCornell, a subsidiary of the US-based Cornell University, to offer their courses in India.

"Those who join eCornell courses will be able to obtain Cornell University certificates in various disciplines like management, human resources and finance," Mr Bandreddy Madhusudan, Director of Easy Educate, said.

TIE-UPS PLANNED

The education services company is in the process of tying up with corporates and educational institutions in India to reach out to a wider section of the youth.

"We have recently signed a memorandum of understanding with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, which allows all the bonafide JNTU students to complete Cornell University certificates at a huge discount on eCornell's advertised tuition fee," he said.

Commenting on the association, an eCornell representative told Business Line that Easy Educate, a distribution partner, would be marketing the courses to Indian businesses as a corporate training solution, as well as to individuals looking to build their management and leadership skills.
