New Delhi Jan. 28 The Japan Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM) has appointed Confederation of Indian Industry as the `TPM Awards Assessment Agency'.

JIPM is a public corporation under the administration of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in Japan and confers the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Awards to companies globally.
