Subex Azure Q3 net rises 65%

Bangalore Jan. 29 Subex Azure Ltd, a vendor of revenue maximisation solutions for telecom operators, today reported a 65 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 19.1 crore on a consolidated revenue of Rs 106.2 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006. The company's revenue saw a growth of 118 per cent over the figure of Rs 48. 8 crore during the corresponding period of last fiscal 2005-06.

Mr Subash Menon, Chairman, Managing Director and CEO, said, "The results are a reflection of our performance globally. The company added seven new customers during the third quarter. The company's customers include 23 of the world's 40 largest telecom companies by revenue, and it has served, over 150 customers spread across more than 70 countries."

Mr Menon said of the total revenue of Rs 106.2 crore during Q3, products contributed Rs 75.8 crore. Products revenue accounts for 71 per cent of the company's total revenue.

Subex Azure pioneered the strategic concept of a Revenue Operations Centre (ROC) for telecom operators, which is a centralised and integrated platform from which operators can assess, address and correct all aspects of their revenue maximisation processes. Its Rocware is an integrated suite of software solutions that powers the ROC.
