Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has bagged an export order worth Rs 45 crore for a gas compressor package from French firm Grande Paroisse, a Total Group Company. The order envisages design, manufacture, supply, erection and commissioning supervision of a `Carbon Dioxide Compressor Train Package' for installation in a urea plant in France, BHEL said in a release here on Monday. The delivery has to be made within 15 months, it said.

The State-run company will manufacture the auxiliaries for the contract at its Hyderabad plant. Apart from this, BHEL is also currently executing three contracts worth Rs 220 crore for large size compressor packages in Oman.
