Balaji Amines net up 35%

Balaji Amines Ltd has reported net sales of Rs 41.51 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 up around 30 per cent over the corresponding quarter's sales of Rs 31.20 crore. The net profit was Rs 4 crore (Rs 2.93 crore), a jump of nearly 35 per cent.

The EPS stood at Rs 12.36 (Rs 9.77), according to the unaudited financial results of the company. The paid-up share capital also increased to Rs 3.24 crore (Rs 3 crore) due to a preferential allotment done during the quarter. Consequently, the percentage of shareholding of non-promoters stood at 46.85 per cent against 50.10 per cent in the previous quarter, a company press release said.
