Textiles Suryajyoti Mills clocks Rs 42-cr Q3 sales Our Bureau
The profit after tax was put at Rs 3.05 crore (Rs 2.11 crore), showing a growth of 44.5 per cent. Contributions from exports rose to Rs 9.13 crore (Rs 5.08 crore), an increase of 79.7 per cent. For the nine-month period, the company registered net sales of Rs 118.94 crore (Rs 103.81 crore), an increase of 14.6 per cent. The PAT stood at Rs 9.21 crore (Rs 6.3 crore), a growth of 46.2 per cent. Exports contributed Rs 22.72 crore (Rs 11.58 crore), witnessing a growth of 96.2 per cent. The company is expanding capacity from 62,000 spindles to 87,616 spindles at a cost of Rs 48 crore. In the next phase, it plans to invest Rs 105 crore on its bottom-weight fabrics facility in Hyderabad. Production is expected to start in October.
