Project monitoring system at VSP

The computerised project monitoring system, developed by a team led by Mr G.V Ramesh, Deputy Chief Manager of the IT Department, was inaugurated at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Wednesday.

Mr S.N. Prasad, Executive Director (Projects), who inaugurated the system, said the system would be of great use in tracking the progress of various projects being taken up as a part of the expansion of the capacity of the plant from 3.2 million tonnes to 6.3 million tonnes at a cost of Rs 8,600 crore.
