Madurai Feb. 1 The Madurai District Tiny And Small Scale Industries Association (Maditssia) will be holding the 23rd All India Ideal Home Exhibition at Tamukkam grounds in the city from February 8 to 18.

The special arrangement this year is that each sector is allotted a separate bay with an entry and exit point to enable the visitors to exercise their choice and avoid a compulsory walk around the show, said the Maditssia President, Mr P.T. Krishnamoorthy, in a meet with the press here on Wednesday.

A total of 250 fully carpeted stalls divided into eight sectors such as electronics, kitchen wares, products from REGP units under KVC, building materials, craft materials, home appliances and lifestyle products will be on show. Air-conditioned hangers are provided for value-added products. Government departments and service organisations form part of the exhibition.

A pets' show will be an additional attraction, he added.

The Chairman of the Organising Committee, Mr K.R. Gnansambandan, said a `Dream Madurai' contest for college students is being held as part of the exhibition inviting suggestions especially on traffic education and regulation in the city.
