Hind Sanitaryware net up

Hindustan Sanitaryware and Industries Ltd recorded a 31 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 8.28 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, compared to Rs 6.31 crore for the corresponding quarter last fiscal. The net sales of the company increased by 16 per cent at Rs 116.9 crore for the period, compared to Rs 100.13 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Commenting on the result, Mr Sandip Somany, Joint Managing Director of the company, said, "The results in the current quarter are reflective of significantly better operations, specially from the glass division. The company's building products division has successfully implemented ERP package during the quarter. We continue to be bullish on the growth prospects of both the divisions and the company."
