Pyramid Saimira Theatre Ltd has posted third quarter net profit of Rs 5.15 crore on turnover of Rs 46 crore. Net sales stood at Rs 37 crore, with other income amounting to Rs 9 crore. Operating profit stood at Rs 5.8 crore after deducting cost of pictures and rights to serials and films (Rs 20.1 crore), exhibition expenses (Rs 16.33 crore) and other expenditure (Rs 3.74 crore).

During the quarter Pyramid Saimira added 54 screens, bringing the total to 194 screens nationally. The company's shares began trading on the BSE on January 5.
