Nagarjuna-led group bags port project

Hyderabad, Feb. 3

A consortium comprising Nagarjuna Construction Co Ltd (NCCL), Maytas Infra Pvt Ltd and SREI Infrastructure Finance Ltd has been awarded the project to develop and operate an all-weather deepwater port at Machilipatnam in Andhra Pradesh on a BOOT (build, own, operate and transfer) basis. The consortium has decided to form a special purpose vehicle to execute the project valued at Rs 1,200 crore, according to a press release from NCCL.
