Wipro Technologies has won the Dale Carnegie Global Leadership Award for 2007. The award was presented to Wipro by Mr Peter Handal, Chairman of Dale Carnegie Training, at Bangalore . Dale Carnegie's Global Leadership Awards is recognition in the enterprise training and development space. Wipro is the first Indian organisation to have won this award. Other winners in the past are Boeing, Wal-Mart, Daimler-Chrysler Corporation and SAS Scandinavian Airlines. Mr Handal said that Wipro has a commitment to providing excellent service and quality products to its customers; dedication to employee growth; understanding of the value of employees and a sense of obligation that compels them to a high level of community involvement.
