Andhra Bank cuts NRE rates

Andhra Bank has revised the interest rates on Non-Resident (External) Rupee Accounts (NRE Accounts) term deposits effective from February 1. The interest rates offered on different maturity periods are: For one year and less than two years the revised rate is 5.93 per cent per annum (6.33 per cent). For two years and less than three years it is 5.85 per cent (6.16 per cent). For three years and above it is 5.80 per cent (6.08 per cent). The revised rates are applicable to fresh deposits and renewals of existing deposits from February 1, according to a bank press release.
