Kolkata, Feb 5

BOC India Ltd, now a member of the Linde Group, recently signed a 10-year gas supply agreement with Adhunik Metaliks, the flagship company of the Kolkata-based Adhunik Group with major interests in steel and presence in West Bengal, Orissa, Jharkhand and Meghalaya and currently in the midst of a major expansion programme.

The agreement was signed by Mr E.R. Raj Narayanan, Managing Director of BOC India, and Mr Manoj Kumar Agarwal, Managing Director of Adhunik Metaliks. As per the agreement, BOC India will build and operate a 100-tonne-a-day air separation unit at Adhunik's steel works in Rourkela.
