JM Fin India Fund invests in International Tractors

Mumbai Feb. 5 JM Financial India Fund, a $200-million corporate private equity fund, has made an investment of Rs 125 crore in International Tractors Ltd. (ITL).

International Tractors Ltd is a player in the domestic tractor market with a pan-India network of over 800 exclusive dealers. The company also has a partnership with Yanmar (Japan), the second largest tractor manufacturer in the world.

"We believe that the company is well positioned to further strengthen its domestic market share as well as grow its international business in the future, through its strategic foreign partnership and a strong balance sheet," said Mr Dilip Kothari, Managing Director of JM Financial India Fund.
