Aircel extends coverage in TN

Coimbatore, Feb. 5

Aircel, one of the mobile phone service providers in Tamil Nadu, today brought Amaravathi in Coimbatore district under its network, taking the total number of towns covered by it to 800 in the State.

Mr K.V.P. Baskar, CEO-South, Aircel, speaking at the launch function, said the company has planned to extend the coverage to 1,200 towns during 2007.
