The blood donors' forum of the Indian Medical Association and surgicals major Terumo Penpol are jointly hosting a meeting of Club 25, a grouping of voluntary blood donors, on February 24 here. Club 25 encourages young people to attend a blood centre, learn about healthy lifestyles and to donate blood regularly. The club aims to achieve the larger goal of about 25 donations for each member by the time he or she attains the age of 25. They also share knowledge with their communities through health promotion.
