Coimbatore, Feb. 6

The subcontracting expo, Subcon 2007, to be organised by the Coimbatore District Small Industries Association (Codissia), will be held from February 23 to 25 at the Codissia trade fair complex here.

In a press release, Mr J. Balu, Chairman, Subcon 2007, said the fair is being organised to help the SSIs find a market to their products and to encourage the large industries identify their potential vendors. It also provides a platform to the manufacturers to showcase their products and to encourage the SSIs to pool their resources to achieve huge scale of operation. He said there would be more than 200 stalls at the fair and entry was free. National Small Industries Corporation Ltd and Small Industries Service Institute are the co-sponsors of the expo.
