Chennai, Feb. 6

California Software Company Ltd (Calsoft) has reduced its group's equity interest in American HealthNet Inc. (AHN), US, to 18.5 per cent from 51 per cent.

Calsoft's wholly owned subsidiary CSWL Inc, US, sold 34 per cent equity interest in AHN to Andorra Services - an investor in AHN and an angel investment and venture capital company - for $ 300,000 (around Rs 1.35 crore), according to a Calsoft press release. Calsoft, a Chennai-based IT company, acquired a majority stake in AHN in February 2005. With this divestment the results of AHN will no longer form part of the consolidated results of Calsoft group from the current ongoing quarter fourth of 2006-07.
