Cauvery verdict

While Tamil Nadu has welcomed the Cauvery Tribunal's verdict, Karnataka obviously has not — protests saw the burning of buses and destruction of public property.

Even if Karnataka chooses to file a review petition, not much can be expected — deferment in the implementation of the verdict by a few months, at the most.

The only course open, then, is to move the Supreme Court. Vandalism will only result in loss of public sympathy.
