Albit Electronics plans expansion

Albit Electronics plans to expand its manufacturing capacity of inverters and batteries with an investment of Rs 25 crore.

"We are setting up a new battery manufacturing plant in Uttaranchal with a capacity of 10,000 units per month with an investment of Rs 15 crore," said Mr Vipin Goel, Managing Director, Albit Electronics. The facility would commence production by November, he added.

Another Rs 10 crore would be spent in the company's existing plant in Parwano in Himachal Pradesh to increase the production of inverters from the current 1,500 units per day to 4,500 units per day.

The company also launched the new range of its Z-series of inverters, which according to the company, has superior elements of digital signal processing and micro controller.
