Hyderabad Feb. 8 Solix Technologies Ltd, data management solutions provider, is seeking to tap into the litigation support services market with e-Discovery, a new solution for the US enterprises. The Chief Executive Officer of Solix, Mr Sai Gundavelli, said the market for litigation support and search services in enterprises is growing as there is demand for data extraction. Since it is not physically possible to search information from across sources given the short time window, the market for data centric management through electronic services is increasing. As a company that specialises in offering services for Sarbanes-Oxley and other compliance mandates, this new area is a logical extension.

Speaking to Business Line, Mr Sai Gundavelli said the company is in the process of entering into new verticals such as financial services and plans to partner with ERP and business intelligence solutions providers to offer Basel II compliance-related solutions.

One of the challenges enterprises face is managing large data within the organisation and extracting information when required.

These could be hosted in the form of e-mails, documents and reports. The company offers indexing services to companies like Rediff.

Solix launched its Global Partner Network which included Dbora Consulting, InfomArt, Wipro and Sierra Atlantic and has recently strengthened its global management team, including a top official from EMC.

TO RE-LIST

A listed entity once, Solix is set to shortly re-list on the BSE as it has recently received nod to re-list.

The company is also planning to raise additional capital to meet its expansion plans both in India and overseas and to strengthen the R&D arm, Mr Sai Gundavelli said.
