Bangalore, Feb. 8

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has become the first Indian company to be certified with AS 9100: Rev B for design and development of airframe structures.

AS9100: Rev B is a quality management system designed specifically for the aerospace industry, which is based around ISO 9001:2000 standard and has been developed by the Society of Automotive Engineers. This model supplements ISO 9001 by addressing the additional requirements for aviation safety concerns and compliance to regulatory requirements.
