Karnataka Bank's new scheme

Karnataka Bank Ltd has introduced one more deposit scheme with a higher interest rate offer. The scheme will be effective from February 12.

A bank release said here on Thursday that the new deposit scheme for 600 days carries an interest of 9.25 per cent. In this scheme, senior citizens will get an interest of 10 per cent for their deposit of 600 days.

The bank — which had earlier introduced two deposit schemes for 365 days at 8.25 per cent interest and 450 days at 8.50 per cent interest — has also decided to offer 0.75 percentage point more for fresh deposits of senior citizens.
