Swedish aerospace company Gripen, which is one of the aspirants to India's proposal to buy new generation fighter aircraft for its Air Force, held an aerial display of its fighter aircraft at Aero India.

Its exhibition stall at the venue also became a major attraction with a number of senior IAF dignitaries, including former Air Force Chief, Mr S. Krishnaswamy, IAF pilots and other VIPs vesting the pavilion. Mr Krishnaswamy also flew the brand new Gripen Cockpit Simulator (GCS), making its world debut at Aero India.
