Fire at Cochin Shipyard station

Kochi Feb. 13 A fire broke out in the Acetylene station of Cochin Shipyard Ltd at around 2.20 p.m. on Tuesday.

The fire was put out by 3.45 p.m. using the fire engines of Cochin Shipyard and the local fire force units at Kochi. The cause of the fire is being investigated, a press release issued by CSL said. The damage to property was minimised and there were no casualties, the release added.
