Kolkata Feb. 14 eRevMax Inc, a New-Jersey-headquartered company engaged in the development of a suite of revenue maximisation products for the software industry, will soon raise $15 million from an Indian venture capital company.

eRevMax's development centre is currently located at the Salt Lake Electronics Complex in Kolkata and 200 professionals are engaged there. The company has firmed up plans to set up a new development centre spread over 60,000 sq ft at Rajarhat New Town at an investment of Rs 20 crore. Land for the purpose has already been acquired. When completed by 2008, the headcount at eRevMax's operations here is expected to double to 400 from the current 200.

According to sources, funds raised by the company would be used to, among other things, fund its growth plans in London and New York. In the current calendar year, the company hopes to put in place a "100-strong sales team" in London and New York.

The company's suite of revenue maximisation and online distribution management products have been deployed in the hospitality industry across the globe, including North America, Europe and India.
