Indian buyers and German cos would conclude attractive deals at Bauma 2007.

Recently in Munich

The Chairman of Bauma Advisory Board, Dr Christof Kemmann, told Business Line, "India is the most important country for German companies in Asia. This country is important both in terms of its current economic and political developments."

Machinery

He said he was aware that although German equipment and machinery were appreciated by Indian user companies because of their quality, the same users were hesitant to buy the equipment and machinery because of high costs compared to other countries offering incentives to keep prices of their own equipment at low levels vis-à-vis German companies.

Bauma 2007

Dr Kemmann felt that Indian buyers and German equipment-makers traders would get an opportunity to conclude attractive business deals at Bauma 2007.

He felt that German companies could also consider setting up joint ventures with their Indian counterparts.
