Tanishq crosses Rs 1,000-cr sales

Tanishq, the jewellery brand from Titan Industries, has crossed the Rs 1,000-crore retail sales mark, Mr C.K. Venkataraman, COO, Tanishq, said. He was speaking to reporters during the opening of Tanishq's 88th store in the country. Tanishq's new store in the city, spread over 3,500-sq-feet, is designed based on south Indian architecture.

The company plans to open 20 more stores next year. Tanishq expects to finish 2006-07 with a sales turnover of Rs 1,250 crore.
